My Story

I felt my existence in my 10th class 2002, because I failed in English subject though I was in English Medium School.

I was a below average student, during my school days. I was a super introvert guy and was good for nothing.

This was my first noticeable failure because this was the year were all my classmates entered into junior college, they were exploring new world and I had to sit home, this left out feeling was dominant, which forced me to think “WHY?” and not only why to be more specific “WHY ME?”

I was intimidated throughout that year; thank goodness I was under the guidance of our spiritual mentor where unknowingly I was doing an affirmation exercise which eventually raised some confidence on myself. This had a positive effect on me because I got to be the topper of my branch in Diploma Engineering.

Failure in subject English, this event held me back more than anything else in my life until I realized recently that the thing which held me back, was my fear for English and not the English subject itself.

Second Failure:

In my final year Diploma due to my unawareness, lack of knowledge & financial challenges. I failed to produce my final year project. Other classmates did not want me in knowing that I cannot contribute financially. Two days early to my exam some guy sold me an incomplete project and asked to buy a component with which this project will work.

I remember the day before my exam I was standing out of Electrical & Electronics shops in the city & was asking for a component. After listening to no from every shop, I was lost completely. Then this one of the last shopkeepers gave me hope that he will make available the component from somewhere. I light up with this, but he kept me standing for 4 hours by the evening I realized I will not get the component I burst out in tears.

On the exam day, I failed to demonstrate the project & even could not explain the circuit, thanks to goodness I was not failed in the subject as I was topper but with the low score in a project, I failed to secure my admission into a good engineering college where there were high chances of placement.

This had a great impact on me, so I always wanted to help students like me to be aware & knowledgeable to face such challenges. I truly want people to realize their fears & overcome any obstacle to live a successful life.

Being Engineer was a Miracle to me:

Engineering, which was not even in my foresight when I passed out of Diploma. Our financial condition was not well enough to afford my engineering fees. But it was my Hero who believed going for higher education is the only option for my good life, she (my Mom) fought with all the situations, where people suggested me starting to work to support my family, she refused the best logical choice and secured my admission to engineering. She just asked me would you study even if you do not have any fancy stuff that any kid would like to have. I remember saying to her it does not matter even if I do not have a bus fare to go to college daily, it does not matter if I do not have good shoes/clothes to wear going to college I would like going college to study. On these statements, she cried a bit, oh gosh!! but she took this as a challenge and she succeeded in sending me to Engineering college.

Start of Business:

I started taking tuition as soon as I admitted to my engineering college to support my college expenses, so I was teaching to students 1 year junior to me and this worked well.

Further, I got obsessed with engineering projects as this was the reason for my failure. A project consulting business is a new technology demanding business, where you always have to come up with one or the other new idea of project implementation.

As this kept challenging Project development became my passion. working 13-14 Hours a day never exhausts me. During this I am very fortunate to work on multiple technologies like:

  1. Every microcontroller available out there, Cortex M3, ARM11, ARM7, STMicroelectronics, MSP430, Cypress, Renesas, Freescale, AVR, Arduino, PIC, 8051.
  2. Verilog FPGA, Xilinx Microblaze.
  3. Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi, BeagleBone Linux-based platforms.
  4. Extensive Image Processing, Matlab Image Toolbox, OpenCV, Machine Vision
  5. Neural Networks, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence.
  6. Internet Of Things ESP866, ESP32, GPRS.
  7. Robotics, PLC Automation
  8. Various protocols like Flexray, CAN, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, MODBUS, RS485, Profibus, TCP/IP, LAN, WiFi, Zigbee, RF, GSM, GPS.
  9. PCB Design on Altium, Eagle, Express PCB.
  10. Tools like Eclipse GNU, Keil, Code Warrior, Code Composer Studio, MPLABX, Xilinx, Arduino, MATLAB, Simulink, Proteus.
  11. Developed a skill set on C, C++, Python, Matlab Scripting, Simulink, Verilog, Android App Development

As the final year project business demands you to work on latest topics on various technology because student project never gets approval if there is nothing new in it. Students from Diploma, 3rd Year Engg, Final year Engg., ME, MTech, Ph.D., MSc/BSc Electronics were our main clients.

This project business flourished, I and my staff were able to successfully deliver 2000+ projects helped 5000+ students for around seven years. Many of my students won the best project awards, and for most of them their involvement in developing their project help them in securing their First Job. Seeing students succeed always gave me a feeling of satisfaction.

Had an opportunity to conducted multiple workshops on various above-listed topics for students & for college staff.

Financial Failure:

Though working hard, I got to see another failure which was the biggest of my life, I had to hold all my business activities & had to join an organization as an employee, where I have served successful 3 ½ Years. I cannot blame financers who withdrew funding when I had invested all my savings, I cannot blame demonetization when my backup projects ran out of cash and financers denied for investment which was agreed.

It was my unawareness & lack of knowledge about finances and their consequences.

My Leanings:

  1. All my major failures in life diverted my life for the best of my career. Multiple micro failures also shaped me to be the best.
  2. Freedom to follow passion is satisfactory than anything else.
  3. Your technical, interpersonal, professional skills will keep you ahead in any situation.
  4. Persistence is the key to success.
  5. Financial Management Skill is essential.
